Kia ora koutou,
We have one last pair of bloggers to celebrate this week. They are both students I've worked with a lot this year and it's been great to see them develop from their first ever blog post become the confident bloggers they are today...

Kia ora bloggers,
I can't believe we're coming to the end of the year! Only a few last chances to claim the Blogger of the Week badge in 2021.
check out this week's Bloggers of the Week...
Kia ora koutou,
I'm pleased to present another pair of students who have been added to the illustrious list of bloggers of the Week...
Kia ora koutou,
We have two wonderful Bloggers of the Week this week who I'm sure would love some positive, thoughtful and helpful feedback on their learning.
Let me know if you have nominations for future Bloggers of the Week.
Kia ora koutou,
Students are still churning out the blog posts. Remember you can check them out here via the Twitterfeed or from the class blog links right at the bottom (or through teacher dashboard).
Blogger of the Week this week is shared between two of our New Windsor whānau who have been pretty prolific recently. There are plenty of posts that I'm sure they'd love some feedback on...
Kia ora koutou, this is the first in what will hopefully be a whole bunch of 'how to...' videos. If there is something that you're not sure how to do then leave a comment below and I'll try and make a video for you (teachers I'm talking to you too).
Kia ora bloggers,
Well that was quite a week! Great to see the blog posts pumping through though. Remember if you want to check out each other's blogs you can visit your class blog or venture out (digitally) and check out some of the blogs from different schools in Ako Hiko or the other clusters round the country. Here's the link (class blogs at the bottom).
This week I couldn't choose between three people so here they are. Maybe in the comments you can let me know what you enjoyed about their blogs...
Kia ora bloggers,
First of all congratulations EVERYONE! On Friday there were 163 blog posts in the cluster!
I chose this week's Blogger of the Week based on some strong blogging behaviour over the past few terms and in the holidays.
While I was popping Manu (the Ako Hiko bird mascot) on his blog I noticed another post had been published, making it two for the weekend!
Awesome job Junior, keep it up!
Kia ora and welcome to Term 3 bloggers!
This week's blogger of the week forged a couple of lovely posts this week but they also deserve this recognition for completing five of the holiday blogging challenges over the last few weeks. Check out here blog here...
Kia ora bloggers,
For the last week of term we have two Bloggers of the Week. One who was nominated by their teacher and one who has been on my radar for a while now. They've both been very active this week! Click the links below to check out their blogs and leave them some comments. Also, don't forget you can take part in our holiday blogging challenge over the next two weeks.
Kia ora koutou bloggers,
Today we had our first ever Ako Hiko Ambassador meeting. Six of our schools were represented in the library at Wesley Primary.
Also, if you look to the side bar on the right -------> you'll now see links to the blogs of all our ambassadors.
I love the way this Blogger of the Week asks questions in his blog posts. Let's hope he gets lots of lovely answers...
You can also tell that this person has learnt about what information he should share online to leave a Smart Footprint.
Kia ora, this week's blogger of the week has completed a couple of blogs posts this week including an awesome translation of a whole text into another language. Check out her blog and leave her some positive, thoughtful and helpful feedback...
An awesome post this week to celebrate NZ sign language week. I like the way this blogger has made a Screencastify video but then recorded her voice over the top. Ka pai!
Kia ora koutou,
In the past couple of weeks our last Blogger of the Week for Term 1 has used Google Slides to create an animation, Google Docs to translate a story into another language, Screencastify to teach some Te Reo Māori and Google Draw to create a digital self-portrait.
Please leave some positive, thoughtful and helpful comments for this fantastic blogger...
Kia ora koutou,
This week's Blogger of the Week has impressed me over the term with her mixture of text, photos, posters and videos. Ka pai Sarah, keep up the great work! I look forward to hearing about Market Day.
This is no April Fool's joke! This is our Blogger of the Week. And just like last week this person entered the Ako Hiko Poetry Slam. If you haven't had a go yet, you can check out the website and enter a poem.
It's Poetry Slam week so I've chosen an awesome example from the fine selection of blog posts that have been entered. This one stood out because of the engaging slides and clear voice recording of the poem.
We're off and running in the second Ako Hiko Poetry Slam. Thank you to Damien from Wesley Intermediate for being the first to get their entry in. You can check out his poems here...
Kia ora bloggers,
I've chosen this week's Blogger of the Week because of the way she explained her learning and also engaged her audience by asking a question.
It's also worth a scroll to check out some of her awesome news style videos from earlier this month.
Kia ora koutou,
I've chosen this pōhi (post) to share today because I love the simplicity and clarity of the DLO (digital learning object). Looking back through this blogger's previous posts I saw that this was a continuing theme. I think this learner has a great eye for good design and I am exciting to she how this develops this year.
Click on the hopuāhua (screenshot) below or the hononga (link) underneath to check out the blog and leave a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment.
Kia ora koutou. Our blogger of the Week produced 6 blog posts this week! Many of which show how Cybersmart he is. Please leave him a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment, he's definitely earned it!
Kia ora bloggers,
What a start we have had to 2021! I've been so impressed with the amount and the quality of blog posts that have been created already.
Our first Bloggers of the Week have collaborated on a wonderful pick-a-path resource to help others learn about the Kawa of Care and how to look after their devices.
Have a go at their slide decks to check that you know how to make smart choices when using your device. And remember to leave them a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment.
